Redispersible Polymer powder/RDPRDP/ Redispersible Polymer powder is composed of a special polymers made of powder adhesive after spray drying. This powder is contact with water can be dispersed again in soon after forming emulsion, and with the nature of the same as the initial emulsion, namely the film can be formed after the moisture evaporation, the film has high flexibility, high resistance to weathering and on various substrate with high caking property. the powder environmental protection, energy saving, high quality, used for powder materials, dry-mix mortar is an indispensable functional additives.
It can improve the performance of mortar, raise the strength of the mortar, improve the bonding strength of mortar with different base material, improve the mortar flexible and variable line, compressive strength, flexural strength, abrasion resistance and toughness, stick relay and water retention, constructability.

The mechanism of the RDP/Redispersible Polymer Powder(redispersible emulsion powder) to improve the workability of the newly mixed mortar is: the emulsion powder, especially to protect the colloid dispersion of water and increase the viscosity of the slurry, improve the cohesion of the construction mortar.
After the newly mixed mortar containing emulsion powder dispersion is formed, with the water absorption of the base surface, the consumption of hydration reaction, and the volatilization to the air, the water is gradually reduced, the resin particles are gradually close, the interface is gradually blurred, the resin is gradually fused with each other, and finally polymerized into a film. The process of polymer film formation is divided into three stages. In the first stage, the polymer particles move freely in the form of Brownian motion in the initial emulsion. As water evaporates, the movement of particles is naturally more and more restricted, and the interfacial tension between water and air causes them to gradually line up together. In the second stage, when the particles begin to contact each other, the water in the network evaporates through the capillary tubes, and the high capillary tension applied to the surface of the particles causes the deformation of the latex spheres so that they fuse together, the remaining water fills the pores, and the film is roughly formed. The third and final stage enables the diffusion of polymer molecules (sometimes called self-adhesive) to form a truly continuous membrane. In the film forming process, the isolated movable latex particles consolidate into a new film phase, which has a high tensile stress. Obviously, in order for the RDP/Redispersible Polymer Powder(redispersible emulsion powder) to re-harden the film in the sand slurry, the minimum film forming temperature (MFT) must be ensured to be lower than the curing temperature of the mortar.Feature:Redispersible Polymer powder(Redispersible Latex powder) is the main raw material in production of internal, external wall putty, adhesive mortar and plaster mortar. the powder is specially applied as the agglutinant of basis materials on triple superphosphate, Talcum powder and white cement and so on.
