Redispersible VAE powder HEARST-503M is a product made of vinyl acetate-ethylene (VAE) copolymer emulsion as the main component, via spay drying process into flowable white polymer powder, which can be widely used for dry mixed mortar or powder construction material products.
Produced by spray-drying special water-based emulsion. Mostly based on vinyl acetate-ethylene. Dissolves in water easily and quickly forms emulsion. Its chemical properties are the same as original emulsion competely. Excellent flexibility in low temperature.
It can glue together different substrates, reinforce mortar struture and provide excellent adhesion at cement or gypsum based dry mixed mortar substate interface.

Product Property
- HEARST-503M as a VAE polymer powder can be redispersed well into polymer emulsion again after mixing with water.
- HEARST-503M with the characteristics of middle glass transition temperature, therefore, has a good balance between adhesion and flexibility, and wide universality of application.
- HEARST-503M can form film with suitable hardness inside and surface of the finished construction material product, which can significantly improve the cohesion, wear resistance, impact resistance and waterproofing ability.
- HEARST-503M with good acid and alkaline resistance, is good for the workability and weatherability of the construction material products which used it.
- HEARST-503M with good and wide compatibility, can use with almost all other chemical additives in diverse formulations.
- HEARST-503M not only retains the superior performances of the original VAE emulsion, such as good film formation, excellent adhesion and durable flexibility, but also improves the convenience and stability for transportation, storage and operation.
