.Redispersible Polymer Powder is a kind of free-flowing white powder,which is spray-dryed by polymer emulsion and after subsequent treatment to keep the stability of powder appearance and character. The mainly application is in construction dry-mixed mortar,and have excellent performance in increasing the dry mortar cohesion,adhesion and flexibility.
Redispersible latex powder
Redispersible latex powder is made of vinyl acetate vinyl copolymer lotion through spray drying. This product is designed and produced for the practical application in China. It has stable quality and high cost performance, and is suitable for the production of dry mixed mortar. It is a free flowing white polymer powder, which can be easily re emulsified and dispersed in water to form a stable lotion. It can be mixed with other powdery materials such as cement, sand, lightweight aggregate, etc. in the production factory according to the corresponding ratio in the dry state to obtain cement dry mixed mortar of good quality and easy to use, so as to reduce the error and inconvenience when measuring lotion in the field construction.
Product performance of redispersible latex powder
- Improve the bending strength and flexural strength of mortar
The polymer film formed by redispersible latex powder has good flexibility. Forming a flexible connection between the gaps and surfaces of cement mortar particles. Heavy and brittle cement mortar becomes elastic. Mortar with the addition of redispersible latex powder has much higher tensile and flexural strength than ordinary mortar.
- Improve the adhesive strength and cohesion of mortar
After being filmed with redispersible latex powder as an organic binder, it can form high tensile strength and adhesive strength on different substrates. It plays an important role in the adhesion between mortar and organic materials (EPS, extruded foam board) and smooth surface substrate. The film-forming polymer adhesive powder is distributed as a reinforcing material throughout the entire mortar system, increasing the cohesion of the mortar.
- Improve the impact resistance, durability, and wear resistance of mortar
The adhesive powder particles fill the pores of the mortar, increasing its density and improving its wear resistance. Under the action of external forces, it will relax without being damaged. Polymer adhesive film can exist in mortar systems for a long time.
- Improve the weather resistance and freeze-thaw resistance of mortar, and avoid mortar cracking
Redistributable latex powder belongs to thermoplastic resins, which have good flexibility and can enable mortar to cope with external changes in cold and hot environments, effectively avoiding cracking of mortar due to temperature differences.
- Improve the hydrophobicity of mortar and reduce water absorption rate
The redispersible latex powder forms a film on the pore and surface of the mortar, and the polymer film does not disperse again when it comes into contact with water, preventing the invasion of water and improving its impermeability. Redispersible latex powder with hydrophobic effect has better hydrophobic effect.
- Improve the workability of mortar construction
The polymer adhesive powder particles have a lubricating effect between them, allowing the mortar components to flow independently. At the same time, the adhesive powder has an inducing effect on air, giving the mortar compressibility and improving its construction and workability.

Usage:
