Silicone Hydrophobic Agent /Water Repellent is powdered silanebased product with strong hydrophobic effect. It is composed of powder carrier,protective colloid and easily dispersbile organic silicon active ingredients. WS80 has hydrophobicity and dispersibility. It is suitable for all kinds of mortars that need to prevent the penetrtion of liquid water, and improve the hydrophobicity and durability of the mortar itself.
The powder hydrophobic agent is a siloxan-based powder resin particle, which is composed of a powder carrier and an easily dispersed siloxan-based active component.

Water Repellent Usages
Silicone Hydrophobic Agent after mixing with other dry powder components, it is packaged as a finished product, and it is used after mixing according to the recommended dosage of water on site.
The recommended dosage is 0.2%~0.5% by weight of dry powder,which hardly affect the compressive strength of the materials.

Function :1. Prevent liquid water from penetrating into solidified cement-based materials through surface or capillary action;
2, can greatly reduce the water absorption of cement-based materials, even if the direct contact with water for more than 24 hours;
3, when the added amount is 0.2%-2.5% dry mix weight ratio, it has almost no adverse effect on the compressive strength of the material.
Adding amount and use method :1. It is recommended to add 0.5%-1.5% of the total amount of dry powder building materials, which can achieve good waterproof and impermeable effect;
2. It can be blended with other dry powder building materials without affecting the use effect.
